Bayberry Beer Hall

A modern take on the German favorite.

By Jenna Pelletier

While a year-round beer garden is, sadly, not feasible in often-chilly Rhody, owners Tom and Natalie Dennen have created the next best thing indoors by installing a massive live plant wall in their spacious beer hall. New England-made brews from the likes of Oxbow, Maine Beer Co., Aeronaut, and Rhode Island’s own Proclamation Ale Company dominate the taps in this modern, Scandinavian-feeling space filled with communal tables. Pair your pint (or glass of wine or kombucha on tap) with comforting snacks like a Sourdough Pretzel, Beer Cheese, or Beet Hummus with black radish and flatbread.
