Molly Ford

Molly has been hooked on food and travel ever since high school, when she left her hometown, Del Mar, California, to study abroad in Spain. Her appetite for locals-only, hidden culinary gems has since fueled countless global adventures, from Denmark to Turkey to Rwanda.

She first landed in Boston a decade ago to study communications and broadcast journalism at Boston University. After a stint in San Francisco helping to launch a national sports television network, she moved back and founded The Food Lens with her BU BFF Sarah Jesup in 2016. When she’s not doing yoga, watching sports, or sipping skinny Margaritas, Molly spends her days spreading the world about the city’s best food. Her favorite dish? The gochujang-spiced Lumache pasta at Pammy’s in Cambridge. “I love Pammy’s cocktails and natural wine list,” she says. “Plus, that cozy fireplace is perfect for cold winter nights.”

Fun Fact

With five older brothers, Molly is the baby girl in her family. (Hence her love for sports!)
