The Art of Japanese Whiskey: Distilling, Blending & Aging
Ready for a unique whiskey tasting experience? Come to the Urban Grape in the South End to learn about the subtleties of Japanese whiskey. This “Geek Out” class will be led by Kaiyo Whiskey’s Brand Ambassador Jay Cole who will be pour samples for you to try as you learn about the details of Japanese whiskey (environment, water, distilling, blending, and aging) that make it unique. Though distilled in Japan, the Kaiyo whiskey is actually aged in barrels on a boat in the middle of the Pacific! The class will be kept small to allow time for discussion and questions. Tickets $25.
