While sushi may be more of one of the daunting foods to prepare at home, this class hopes to change your mind. Hosted at the KITCHEN at the Boston Public Market, this class featuring Red’s Best seafood will teach you the traditions of sushi while learning how to shop for and roll sushi. During our interview with Jeremy Sewall of Row 34 and Island Creek Oyster Bar, he noted that Red’s Best had some of the best seafood in the city so these folks know what they’re talking about. Chef Jen, who was a part of the sushi program at Legal Harborside, will lead you through the creation of two different sushi rolls (Salmon Maki and Tuna Maki) alongside a traditional Japanese salad. As with most classes at The KITCHEN, the meal you prepare will be paired with three New England wines. Tickets $68 – $85 (The Trustee of Reservations Members get a discount)
