Few things say summer quite like strawberries, which is why Sofra Bakery & Cafe is hosting a Strawberry Fest aimed at showcasing one of America’s favorite berries. The event is kicking off with a cocktail hour followed by a litany of savory strawberry dishes from Sofra’s Chef Didem. The pastry team from Sofra, Oleana and Sarma are all getting involved to prepare a dessert buffet featuring strawberry truffles, strawberry arlettes, and more strawberry-centric desserts. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to The Food Project, a non-profit dedicated to building a more sustainable foot system. Tickets $85.
