New England Shellfish 101 with Island Creek Oysters
Come learn how to bring some of the best shellfish in the world to your kitchen at Formaggio Kitchen! They will be hosting Lindsay from Island Creek Oysters to show you how to navigate the world of shellfish, from shopping for it to preparing it. Along with beverage pairings, you’ll learn and taste simple raw oyster preparations, classic “stuffies”, and more types of New England shellfish. The best part is that you won’t even need to “shell” out that much ($65) to impress your friends with your shellfish knowledge. Note that the class is not held at the Formaggio Kitchen Retail store but rather at their Classroom Annex (see address to the right).
