Meze Monday at Sofra
Small dishes sometimes come with big flavor. That’s the case when it comes to the Turkish array of small plates known as meze. At this class, you’ll learn about some ingredients and recipes that show how great Turkish food can be. This class will be led by Sofra Chef de Cuisine Didem Hosgel along with a special guest visiting from Istanbul, Banu Ozden – friend, culinary instructor, and founder of Spoon in my pocket. Recipes you’ll learn include cheese spread with walnuts and chilis, braised strip bass with tomato, mussels rice pilaf cooked in olive oil, and a surprise dessert cooked by the pastry chef.
