Master Class: Challah and The Jewish Cookbook with Leah Koenig

Leah Koenig is a world-renowned author of six cookbooks, including “Modern Jewish Cooking” and the recently released “The Jewish Cookbook”. In this class, Leah will be highlighting the most important bread in the Jewish culture, Challah. After talking about its origin and history, you will learn how to make 3 different challahs as well as spreads and jams to pair them with. Recipes included Sephardic Pumpkin Challah, Apple Butter Challah, and Tahini-Honey Spread. In addition to learning how to make and tasting everything you make, you will go home with a copy of her new cookbook, which includes 400 recipes that capture global Jewish cuisine. Tickets $200.
