Fish Tales at Sofra
Contrary to what Finding Nemo may have told you, fish are food. But this class hopes to dispel any fears that you may have had about preparing it. Led by Sofra Executive Chef Ana Sortun, this class will teach you various fish cooking methods including roasting, searing, and caramelizing. You’ll also learn how to stuff/wrap fish, have the proper spice mixes at the ready, and how to buy fish. Some recipes you’ll learn include Arctic Char with Tomato Sesame Jam, Halibut in Parchment with Beet Tabouleh and Spicy Walnut Sauce, and Scallops with Crispy Brussels Sprouts. The class will be demonstration-style and include the food and a beverage pairing. Tickets: $125.
