With Valentine’s Day coming up, now is your opportunity to do something extra special for your special someone. We’re not talking about flowers and store-bought chocolate, we’re talking about making homemade chocolate creations that will wow whoever you give them to. 177 Milk Street will be playing host to chocolatière Alexandra Whisnant, owner of gâté comme des filles, an artisanal chocolate shop in Bow Market. She has experience at Laduree and Chez Panisse and she will be leading this hands-on class exploring everything chocolate. You will learn the art and science of it, both learning how to temper it and how to make airy chocolate mousse. You’ll do many tastings to learn why quality, fresh ingredients are important as well.
