Chef's Knives and Cleavers: Knife Skills 101

Knife skills are a necessity. This hands-on training will show you proper handling techniques and timing for a Western chef’s knife, a Chinese vegetable cleaver, a Japanese santoku and a paring knife. There will be practice time with ingredients before you assemble a full dinner including Thai-style coleslaw, smashed cucumber salad and fried rice for dinner. Tickets $125.
