Boston Bars and Restaurants Now Selling Cocktail Kits To-Go

Boston bars and restaurants may not be allowed to sell full cocktails through takeout and delivery—but they can sell mixes and kits. Pick up a cocktail kit from the following venues and just add booze to enjoy some of your favorite libations at home.

Alcove
In addition to selling cocktail pantry supplies like bitters, brine, and ice, Alcove is selling cocktail kits containing everything needed to make Espresso Martinis, Bloody Marys, Daiquiris, and more. Order the kits online for pick-up or delivery via Caviar.

Bar Mezzana
Bar Mezzana’s takeout menu includes an Aperol Spritz Kit, as well as some favorites from its sister establishments: a Shore Leave Mai Tai Kit and a Black Lamb Rose Mojito Kit.

Bisq
Bisq is selling a Honey-Ginger Mixer that it recommends pairing with scotch, rye, or mezcal, as well as a Strawberry-Rhubarb Mixer made with fresh strawberries, rhubarb, hibiscus flowers, and lime juice—a perfect complement to vodka, tequila, or gin. 

Blossom Bar
Blossom Bar is selling ice, garnishes, and glassware in addition to a range of Craft Blossom Mixers that allow domestic bartenders to recreate favorites like the Bocadillo Sour or the Angie Valencia. Place orders online for pick-up.

Chickadee
Chickadee is offering free same-day delivery of its cocktail kits, which include Daiquiris, Margaritas, Bloody Marys, and more. Order by calling the restaurant at 617.531.5591 before 2:30 p.m.

The Butcher Shop
The Barbara Lynch Collective’s “Best of BLC Takeout” initiative operating out of The Butcher Shop includes cocktail kits with all you need (aside from booze) to make Bourbon Smashes, Mai Tais, and Grapefruit Margaritas at home. Orders can be placed online for pick-up.

Coppa
As part of its takeout menu, the South End enoteca is selling a “Spritz Kit” that includes a bottle of Prosecco, a can of Seagram’s seltzer, a blood orange, and a recipe card explaining how patrons can add an aperitif to turn it into a stellar spritz. (If you don’t have a bottle at home, grab your aperitif across the street at Formaggio South End.) Orders can be placed online for pick-up.

Drink & No. 9 Park
Barbara Lynch Collective sister restaurants Sportello and The Butcher Shop are selling cocktail kits with the ingredients you need to recreate Drink’s Mai Tai or No. 9 Park’s Palmyra, among others, at home.

Fox & The Knife
Fox & The Knife is selling a “Rosé Spritz Kit for Two” that can be ordered online for pick-up.

Highland Fried
Highland Fried is selling a number of tiki-style cocktail mixes, including the Painkiller Mix and Tiki Sangria Mix. You can also pick up their Bloody Mary mix by the quart or pint. 

Highland Kitchen
Highland Kitchen’s takeout and delivery menu includes mixes to help you to recreate their beloved cocktails—including the Spicy Bloody Mix, White Sangria Mix, Margarita Mix, and Mark n Stormy Mixer—at home. 

Lone Star Taco Bar
Both the Allston and Cambridge locations of Lone Star Taco Bar are selling cocktail mixes for drinks including the Lone Star Margarita and the Paloma, as well as their homemade Sangrita tequila chaser. Orders can be placed online for pick-up.

Puritan & Company
Puritan & Company is selling cocktail kits containing everything needed to make a classic Brown Derby, with grapefruit, honey, and lemon, or a Cranberry Mule.

Saltie Girl
On Saturdays and Sundays, Saltie Girl is selling a Mimosa kit that contains one bottle of Veuve du Vernay Champagne plus pineapple, peach, and blood orange juices for topping off. Orders can be placed via phone or email (through info@saltiegirl.com) for pick-up.

Shy Bird
Via takeout or delivery, Shy Bird is selling a Spritz Kit that comes with a bottle of cava, a lemon, and your choice of syrup (choose from crimson berry, jasmine limeade, black tea, and elderflower), and blood orange lemonade.

Sycamore
Wednesday through Sunday, Sycamore is selling cocktail kits and mixers as part of its takeout menu. You can order the Ghost of Mary Bloody Mary mix by the pint, in addition to Rhubarb-Tarragon Mix and Passion Fruit-Mint Mix.

Toro
Toro’s takeout and delivery menu includes a Bloody Mary Kit, a Red Sangria Kit, a Rosé Sangria Kit, and a Gin & Tonic Kit with rhubarb syrup, Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water, pink peppercorns, and lime.

Trina’s Starlite Lounge
At Trina’s, your takeout order can include mixers for house classics like the Violette Hour (cucumber and lavender-lime syrup); the Fallen Angel (jalapeño and lime-mango puree); and the famous Starlite Bloody Mary Mix. You can also pick up a Grapefruit Rosemary Cordial and house-made bitters in flavors like cola, orange, or pineapple.
